Wellington Ski and Outdoor Club Hut is at Lake Dobson, Mt Field National Park.  The hut simply known as Wellington Hut is used all round as a base for Skiing, Bushwalking, photography, fishing and other sustainable outdoor activities.

The club started on Mount Wellington in the early 1930's and moved to Mt Mawson in the late 1940's in response to reducing amounts of snow on Mt Wellington.  This club is well known for its hospitality and social events.  Although originally a ski club the Club recently changed its name to reflect the increase in nonskiing members.
